We identified 15 accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok advertising credit and debit cards in posts and comments, directing usersto make contact via Telegram or direct message (DM). The sale and use of stolenpaymentcard information is illegal and enables financial fraud, posing risks to individuals and financial institutions.
Online Activity
- On Instagram, a posted image displays details of an alleged Cash App-linked debit card account associated with “Msu Federal Credit Union,” captioned “Cash app With linked CC... (Dm me for prices)” and featuring #vendor, #cc, and #moneyglitch, among other hashtags. The posting account has also published an image allegedly showing account balances, captioned “TEXT ME... IF YOU HAVE CHASE LETS [sic] WORK.”
- On Pinterest, six pins attracted comments advertising payment cards, such as “hit me for your cc and clone cards” and “DM on telegram... if you are in need of the credit card,” or using bot-like phrasing (e.g., "Great experience! ... I highly recommend this service...").
- Additionally on Pinterest, four accounts featuring identical profile pictures and Telegram links commented, “Glocks🔫, Clone Cards 💳 and more Available” on five pins.
- On Facebook, a video shows alleged Telegram messages detailing a debit card purchase, with the overlaid text “Testing cc vendors so u guys don’t have to.” The caption, “Legit Credit Card Vendor, Bro makes it so easy,” features a Telegram handle.
- On TikTok,a similar vendor-testing style video has appeared six times, each from accounts with alphanumeric usernames (e.g., bjkjgazi51x). Two of them promoted the Telegram handle @cclogmethod in the video caption, and two other accounts' bios promoted the Telegram handle @pmoccs.
